Where to learn to surf?

To learn to surf you must first think about safety. You must combine the weather conditions of the day, the topography of the beach and its frequentation.

The conditions for learning are small waves. It is essential to respect your progress levels. As the asset includes the surf activity whatever your level, you must absolutely avoid being scared. To do this, master the forecasts in order to compare them with your capabilities. You must take surf lessons in order to be guided in your learning or know how to surround yourself with responsible people.

The topography of the beach is very important in order to limit the risks. When we start surfing, the dangers specific to different spots are not obvious to us. It is preferable to favor the gently sloping sandy beaches as in Brittany. Even on sandy beaches, strong currents can surprise you. Always inquire with the locals and document yourself!

Taking surf lessons is a good option because building a seafaring spirit without any help can be tedious.

One of your concerns should be going to the water. Prefer surf spots for beginners with little traffic. Despite the image of this free sport, there are still rules of priorities to respect. These exist in order to avoid collisions on surf spots as much as possible. Surfers often get into the water in the same place as the others. Do not hesitate to depart from the groups.

The more you progress, the more you will be able to analyze these situations. For rapid progress, prefer surf lessons on suitable spots.
